Christmas Bazaar 2004

A message from the Bazaar Committee

Dear Parents,

Another successful year!

The day went off well without a hitch and fun was had by all. We hope to have raised well in excess of £10,000 ( final figure not yet available ), which will soon be given to our Headteacher to help pay for the

Interactive White Boards

being installed in our children's classrooms. So far, the Smart boards have been a great success and are much loved by the children.

Well over 100 volunteers manned all the stalls and activities that went on during the day. A huge thank you to all of you as the Bazaar could not be run on such a big scale without the huge participation of such a wide section of the school.

We had some beautiful donations sent in for the Wheel of Fortune and the Tombola stands. Thanks to all who donated directly and through the Mufti Days. The prizes were fantastic.

More people than ever before have responded to our appeal for "Matched Money" from their employers. Thanks to all of you who made enquiries and to those of you who committed to the day.

Much work was done in the Old Chapel in the 3 weeks leading up to the Bazaar. Thanks to the committed group of people who turned up day in and day out to meet our deadline.

Our School Staff had a great input this year and manned many of our stalls. We would like to extend a special thank you to them for giving up their free time to come and partake.

Our final thank you is to everybody who turned up on the day to support the Bazaar and spent lots of money! We hope you had a good time and picked up many of the bargains that were on offer.
